I finally had the opportunity to decorate a "Cheese" Cake. I had the pleasure to work with a fantastic Bride and Groom (Kate and Ryan) who had the most eclectic wedding style. The theme for there wedding seemed to be Non-Traditional. It was fabulous! They choose to have a "Cheese" Cake in lieu of a traditional wedding cake. The Bride went to an amazing local cheese shop in Vancouver ( Les Amis du Fromage ) and picked out rounds of cheese in varying sizes. Not to mention the cake looked great it cost less then $300. How it works, after they the cake cutting the Cheese Wheels are taken back to the kitchen and made into a cheese platter. This is great alternative to a midnight snack.



I cannot believe I am saying this but I am in love with bubble veils right now. I am usually so appalled by anything that was in fashion in the 80's but here I am. As long as pouffy sleeves are not going to come back I am going to embrace this trend. Check these beauties that
